Kunstroute Kyllburg starts

Plakat Kunstroute Kyllburg 2022

The Kunstroute starts on Saturday, June 11th. Numerous artists from the Eifel, Poland and the Netherlands offer an exciting 3 km long tour through the “Hahn” city forest: art in harmony with nature.

Discover for yourself the more than 20 artworks, installations and objects that can be seen throughout the summer until Sunday 11 September. Admission is free, but the organizers welcome small and large donations via the Volksbank crowdfunding campaign “Many create more”. (www.many-create-more.de/projects/art-route-kyllburg-de)

The works of art are mostly made of natural materials and inspired by land art. The theme of this year’s art route, set by the cultural summer of Rhineland-Palatinate, is “Compass Europe: East Wind.”

That is why this year we have aligned our Celtic compass to the east, where the sun rises and every new day brings us new opportunities and new hope. We therefore interpret the theme of the cultural summer with “hope”. The participating artists will show us what it looks like for them.

The official opening will take place on June 11 at 3 p.m. We gather in the parking lot at the meeting house, take a guided tour together and then enjoy a concert by the Polish music group Sen Motyla.

There will be other events and guided tours (also with music) throughout the summer. These will be announced via our website www.kunstroute-kyllburg.de and social media. On our website you will also find all information about the artists and their artworks. There is also a printed route booklet available from the Kyllburg restaurateurs and the meeting place.

The organizer of the art route is Kyllburg Verein(t) e.V.
