Everyone may make his own thoughts about this sculpture. It is nice to know that here stones come from the Nimstal, the Ahrtal and the Kylltal. The heavy flood in July 2021 has torn them away from their original “home”. Now they have a new, safe and higher home.

Matthias Stolz from nearby Kyllburgweiler has been a farmer all his life. He and his son have always found creative and technical ways to make a living from farming. They maintain all their own machinery, customize it and also develop their own applications.
His creativity was challenged by the extreme rains and floods of 2021 and, above all, by the fact that we have to learn to live with them.
