Jan Sajdak
Introduction
Jan Sajdak was born in Warsaw in 1987 and studied ethnology and cultural anthropology at the University of Warsaw. He then studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Jan works in many materials, practising sculpture, drawing and printmaking. But in the last years he has specialised more and more in landart and art in close relation to nature. His ethnological interest led him to learn traditional weaving techniques and use them in his sculptures.
In 2019 he created the water birds in the Kyll. It was probably the most photographed site in Kyllburg at the time.
